    It's a LLM very similar to ChatGPT but can be hosted locally on a server. Most important it's open source and can be modified. It's owned and unfortunately restricted by Meta (facebook). Mine's a little slow but I prefer it to Openai.

    I would agree totally, this is the best way to go. I learnt a bit about programming and went through a phase of trying to automate everything. Somethings don't need it. :)

    I spent months fine tuning Llama 3 to create content that passed ai detection tools. All of the content was informational and mostly all of it was also manually edited, some of it did did pretty well

    So what's the solution? Google has what I need, I optimize my sites for that and I make a profit. Maybe I'm missing the point but I can't see a viable alternative.

    It's always unclear with Google updates. Apparently, to protect yourself from the current update we need to E-A-T more :rofl I have two main sites in two different niches and I haven't seen any changes in traffic. Fingers crossed it stays that way.

    I think you have to be very careful with any link building now, they definitely still work but quality links are important. Random crappy links can do more damage than good. Quality content, good user experience, quality links and you've got it.

    I think it's best to let your content find its own place in the SERPs first before you start link building. Doing this ensures you don't over link it, which I believe will become an issue in future updates. Just as @shibanni has mentioned, niche edits and guest posts work very well when done...

    This is so true, especially when you consider the things you could be doing with your time. We don't have much of it. You could argue SEO is the most expensive form of traffic by far.
