    It may sound funny but check your clock and date if they are appropriate. Usually cert errors may happen because of wrong time comparison between client and server.

    Personally I Don't know people using google calendar much but it is useful as it provides API as well. If you know what to do with it, it does miracles.

    Gosh, Chrome versions will reach xxx numbers now. I remember analyzing the chrome.exe process and finding out unwanted port use that was most likely collecting data and uploading to website different than google stuff services.
