Pay per click is NOT the same as pay per visit (which I believe can also be called pay per impression). PPC requires the visitor to click on the link and go to another site. Actually, I would disagree with your initial impression that you cannot get approved by merchant affiliate programs unless you have lots of traffic. Consider Amazon - they approve nearly everyone (unless you've broken their TOS in the past). And CJ has many merchants who have auto approval...- ArizonaJay
