Sounds like poor tracking to me. Clickbank is a decent network, but some of the vendors are crafty. Check out the landing page and be sure it isn't cookie stuffing.
Thanks for sharing. I have an adsense account but I was hesitant because I really didn't understand the do's and dont's. After reading this thread, it seems that adsense is rather straightforward, so I will implement it on a few of my sites/blogs to see how it works out.
I am still getting my sea legs in the affiliate marketing arena, but I couldn't agree with you guys more concerning the importance of trust. Sometimes marketers really focus on trying to generate traffic, but you also have to focus on creating trust with all visitors.

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. Please apply for membership using a personalized email prefix. Something like bob@xxxxx.com.
If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
