Calif. to Amazon sellers: We're coming for those sales taxes | Politics and Law - CNET News
Can you spot the logical loophole in this very true statement?
Why does the California State Board of Equalization and governments have "far deeper pockets"?
Because, they extort money from...
Nice! Let's beat this bill. Moving out of Cali is a bit extreme. Perhaps it would be good to wait and see how many advertisers cancel and then assess how much income they were bringing in, if the the bill is passed. Hopefully none of us will have to deal with this.
No, it is worse. It is not commissions of $10,000... It is gross receipts of $10,000 or more:
AB 178 Assembly Bill - INTRODUCED
If this bill passes in California, I will be moving to another state immediately. If it comes down to it, I will be leaving the states altogether. This country is...
Yeah, using iframes for cookie stuffing is a bad idea. In this case, I'm using iframes to display external sites either for preview purposes or to let people view a page on the external site without having to open a new browser window / leave the current page they are on.
Does anyone konw how loading an external site in a Iframe would be logged in Analytics? It can be useful to display a site within an iframe on a single page from another website.

Hi Linda. I absolutely agree. In my experience, once the aha moment comes for a website idea that could potentially earn some money, it is important to be diligent and focused on that idea, to bring it to a certain level of fruition. Then, when it is earning solid income or bringing in a good...
Chrome Referral Program
I wonder if Google has any plans to do a referral program with Chrome, like what they were offering for downloading Firefox bundled with Google toolbar through Adsense. Maybe we will see this once all of the bugs are ironed out and Chrome has been released cross platform.
I think I may have come up with a solution. The technique would require implementation efforts by both affiliate and publisher. I'm going to see if I can get a hold of a developer or manager at some of my affiliates tomorrow to discuss whether this strategy would be feasible and if they would be...
I posted this on another forum and thought I'd post it here as well, just in case anyone reading this has come up with a solution:
Is there a method to detect if the cookies used by your affiliates are being blocked? I know that Spybot adds rules to both Internet Explorer and Firefox to block...
