Looking forward to reading the Halloween post, Larwee! :)
Speaking of dressing up as realistic-looking animals, back in college, one of my best friends Corey, was dressed as a really colorful bird...I mean, REALLY colorful. He's really tall and he had on quite the large red cardboard beak and...
Hi everyone,
Halloween is right around the corner!
Do you know what YOU are going to be this year?
I more enjoy the idea of somehow creating a costume, cutting out paper wings and glueing them together and on you if you are going to be a bee or something, for example. ;)
This year, I...
I watched some of the tryouts. The Gold Inferno was by far the most hilarious audition of all the ones that I had the chance to watch. He wouldn't take off his mask despite many efforts at persuasion, and had quite the interesting level of self-confidence.
For your viewing pleasure.:

I have to agree with Julia, fantastic question! :)
My favorites are, in order of obsession:
Good Will Hunting
Before Sunrise + Before Sunset (sequel)
Breakfast at Tiffany's
High Fidelity
Paris, Je t'aime
I'm an affiliate manager but also an online shopper, and I typically only use coupon codes that list expiration dates.
Listing expiration dates shows customers that you update your site on a regular basis, and thus makes them trust your site, and come back for more.
How about Canadian Idol? Anyone watch that?
I watched a full episode (maybe for the first time ever) the other week. Greg Neufeld (the guy who looked like he was in a lacrosse team) was surprisingly good! Too bad he got cut.
I have many, many songs I love. But SEMI-CHARMED LIFE by Third Eye Blind comes to mind instantly!
Brings back memories of my carefree teenage days. Riding around in my friend's car, windows open and singing out loud. *sigh*

Hi Larry!
HAPPY 1-YEAR at 5 Star!!
Thanks for the very warm welcome you had given me - I'm sure there will be very many additional anniversaries for you at 5-Star in years to come!! :D
Linda - If I get my hands on any such photographic evidence from one of the SR crew members of Jamie breakin' it down on the dancefloor, I promise that you will be the first to see it! :p
Hi Andrew,
They're flying back today, so, safe to say, they'll be giving us some juicy updates today or tomorrow! :)
I hear they've taken a good number of photos. I wonder if Jamie ended up wowing (or not) everyone with his funk dancing skills! :D
BTW, thanks to everyone who posted...
I'm at the computer for a good 9 hours a day, I'd say. Active about 1-2 hours a day as well.
The active segment of my time does not apply to Sundays, by the way. The best way to describe my Sundays is L-A-Z-Y. :p
Ah, books!!
I am a huge, huge, fan of Jack Kerouac! I am actually in the process of re-reading my favorite book by him: The Dharma Bums.
Prior to this, I read Paul Auster's The Invention of Solitude which was just...amazing!
Any other Kerouac (or other beat-generation writers) fans out...
