Using Linkedin to get more traffic

Hi there, Anyone out there using Linkedin as a social network to boost traffic? I have use Facebook and twitter in the past, but I was just wondering if Linkedin can be effective as well, as I'm looking in to a more b2b type website at the moment. Cheers
