Ditto. I'd post a few answers with the same link, and usually be voted as best answer on one or two, and then get one of those self-important idiots report me for another. So I stopped posting there.
Not exactly the same, but I've been running FeedWordpress on one of my blogs for almost 2 years, and it's worked well.
My main contributor had an existing Blogger blog, and she wasn't willing to abandon it or do double work, so FeedWordpress was a good solution. She still gets full credit for...
I'm with the quality content brigade. You can always go back and tweak your onsite SEO, or re-ping pages after finding new backlinks, but everything else is just pudding.
I bought a few link wheels and pyramid gigs through fiverr, but they proved to be a waste of money. It's another case of quality winning over quantity, and the quality of the links was so bad that they'd usually have a negative result on my rankings.
Total investment - not much, probably about...

At the end of the day it's all about list building and advertising. If I've got their email address and they get to see (and perhaps click on) a few ads, then I'm happy. Usually a handful of users do all the posting and the rest are inactive and that's OK. They're still useful.
I built up a reasonably big forum that way, but it's a lot of work and it's a thin line to walk. If you get caught then your members will immediately lose faith in the forum and all will be lost.
Good luck.

I'd love to trust backlink generators, but thus far haven't found one that actually produces valuable backlinks.
The numbers sound impressive. Perhaps these are different.
If a forum can be found it will be spammed, and you need to protect yourself.
What these idiots don't realise is that they're shooting themselves in the foot. Adding one or two spam posts on a popular forum might bring in a little traffic, but they tend to bombard small, vulnerable sites. This...
Forums - I do posts like this one every day for Postloop credit. This translates into a dozen or so new posts to my forums every day. I prefer this to doing stacks of posts on my own forums, it adds variety and gives new perspectives. It also allows the Postloop traffic to build relationships...
I started a forum a few years back in a small niche, and the best way I could find to grow it was to fake it. Other people, even close friends, are just too unreliable, and when they drop you your site loses momentum and all is lost.
I'd trawl other forums, sites and had quite a few news...
I met up with Tom Hua a while back, and he was telling us about an ebook that he released several years ago. It was a simple manual which explained how to create and list a ClickBank product. He's still getting traffic from it today and it's been out there for something like 10 or 12 years.
Yip. But fair enough, if you're pitching a product then it's only right to tell people that you're trying to sell them something, and not just giving an opinion. Nothing wrong with it and the opinion could be honest and valid if you completely believe in the product you're pitching.
I've got a...
