Hi all,
This is a bit of an odd one, because so many of you are very far away and say that is fine, but some people in the uk say it is slow. I guess it just comes down to the individual home internet speed maybe!?
Anyway, thanks for your feedback on this.

Hi all,
I aksed some people in a design forum to comment on a site I am working on. I asked them to comment on the look / feel, but some of them said that the site was slow.
Does nayone else find it slow in any way, because it seems fine here!?
The site can be found >> HERE <<
Cheers.
I recently asked forum members to comment on a landing page that I was designing. I’ve since made modifications based on what was said (like taking off the CAPTCHA and required fields) and would really appreciate any new thoughts that people have on the way it looks now.
OLD landing page...
Hi all,
I have a site which is about a year old and has some good ranking for relevant keywords.
However, the focus of the company is shifting a little and I really want to reflect this on the home by changing the page title and a fair bit of the page text. (the site can be found HERE)

Hi all,
I was just wondering if there is a general consensus as to whether using CAPTCHA character recognition (for spam security), is a good idea for landing pages?
I’ve been working on a custom landing page (seen here), where I use CAPTCHA. I asked for comments on the page in another forum...
Hello,
I’m fairly new to Adwords and PPC campaigns.
I stated my first proper Adwords campaign 2 weeks ago, using existing pages within my site as landing pages. The aim was to get the person to fill in a quote request form. However, I was worried that the site menu structure would encourage...
Officially this isnt true, but I believe I have seen it work a number of times....set up an Adwords campaign, and link it to the page you want crawled...and wait.
I've seen my target pages crawled 3 times a week after setting up an Adwords campaign, after a period of not being crawled for...
What if you have a .com and you want to (primarily) target your site to the uk, but later make it more global.
I set up a .com site hosted in the uk on the basis that i was thinking about future growth. Are we suggesting that it will be near impossible for me to get good uk positioning with...
Unfortunately I would say that you cant forget about Google full stop if you want to make money (as most websites do). At the moment (maybe until Microsoft or someone else comes up with something 'cool') Google will dictate the way.
I do still feel that Google sould 'answer' more to some...
Wn you say 'dynamic'....you can have dynamic content (i.e. generated by a users search query) but the url and title can remain static. You want the title to change depending upon what they search for?
You can set up Google alerts from your control panel when you log into your Google account. It should be one of things you see in the list presented when you log in.
I set up alerts for my keywords, so that i can see what other sites are being indexed for the same keywords.

So does that mean if i have a .com domain, but it is hosted in the UK, then google will not list it in its results if people search for my goods or services in the uk??

from experience, I one had a problem where a couple of my sites were sharing IPs and one was accused of spamming. What actually happened was that someone was using a old unused and forgotten about web enquiry form. We removed the page, but because the sites shared an IP, effectively all of them...
