Hi Brandonsmith,
This seems like a good solution to me, can I ask you a couple of things.
1. Do you offer API access as one could possibly integrate this to an established car website?
2. What sort of hosting do you provide? IP, RAM, Server speed allocated to a site?
Look fwd to your response.
In reality, neither will do any good if you don't have any influence on them. The very first aim should be - to create a loyal audience and I don't mean just go on adding random people to grow your list, but people who are genuinely intereted in what you have to say. If you can do that, then...
I would like to first tell you all that for the past 11 odd years or so, I have been involved in internet marketing on and off until 2010. I was keeping a day job besides my internet marketing projects. Finally was made redundant by the company in 2010 and started internet marketing full time...
I would have highly appreciated a reply form anyone experienced with tweaking large sites. I have made some discoveries such as using dynamic sitemaps with sitemap type defined as 'index' but I am still not sure what to with the bulk of products that might go missing on a weekly basis?
I don't understand what the starter of this thread is trying to say here. Is that a question or an answer? The very same block of text can be found on 20 other sites if you Google it.
I have used many different laptop makes in the past but ever since I bought my first IBM thinkpad laptop - I am a big fan of IBM. These machines are not the best looking ones but extremely stubborn to suit people like me who spend 16 hours in front of their laptops :)
I need to build a client website which will allow enquiries via a contact form on their website. They wish to receive SMS alerts whenever a customer completes their booking form.
I would like to know if there are any free services that I can use. My client is based in the UK so the system you...
Don't get yourself obsessed with page rank, focus on your site visitors and ROI. When i first started out a decade ago I was the same I guess but you must remember that high PR and even high traffic does not always translate in to high ROI.
What surprises me is the obsessive use of words like 'new strategy for 2012' etc. Yes I do agree a lot has changed in the recent years, but not so radical as some make it sound.
A decade ago, links were important, now you say bookmarks and social sharing etc.
Content was the king back then...
Titles are still important for the users, as the title tag keywords are can impact the CTR from SERPS. Whereas other tags are not so important these days as pointed out by swizzle above.
There is no denying that there's an awful lot to learn for anyone to become a proper webmaster. I myself started out purely as a designer working on Photoshop and had to eventually learn HTML, CSS and PHP to produce websites properly. I do a lot of freelance work so I needed all the skills...
Also depending on your niche, often size of a website also matters. Get loads of related and fresh content constantly added to your site and the traffic will evntually roll in. It's a long term process but you can cut down your paid advertsing costs eventually. I think start with a good focus on...
Why not use Wordpress for a simple website? I personally think Joomla is better for community portal sort of big sites whereas WP is much simpler and easier for smaller websites.
This is a question for those of you who know SEO alongside programming.
I am trying to get my head around technical issues from development point of view, your feedback will be highly appreciated.
Let's say there is a large product comparison site I want to build running off merchant APIs to...
I have used Norton in the past and no doubt that it's pretty good but I personally think its a little too heavy on the system. Now I use ESET, am well happy with it.
