Hello affiliate fix,
I hope you're doing well!
There hasn't been a decent, free newbie guide for affiliate marketing in years. I've done the best with my blog but felt I could organize everything better into a step by step system.
So I've spent the past few months putting together a course...
Hey guys!
If you're coming to ASW, I'll be throwing a free 3-hour seminar. This isn't an official ASW event and something I'm hosting independently.
This is going to be an improved version of the workshops I threw in Asia earlier this year (over 10+ affiliates became full-time based off those...
I don't think starting a blog's a great idea if you're new. I waited 5 years before I started mine. It's extremely time consuming and that time's much better off in the beginning figuring out campaigns. Writing is good of course, but I'd go for a private journey more.
I hope you don't mind Zac if I chime in here since this is my specialty area :-)
You have to understand WHY accounts get banned.
a) your ads get reported by the Facebook users.
b) Stole another affiliate's ad from a spy tool? If their account gets banned, they're have image recognition...
Not sure, maybe $300k? I remember I was doing 300%+ ROI's.
The question is how did I have $300k at that point? I had an Amex Plum card that had unlimited spend, and I was on weekly and even daily wires.

If we're talking about a new new campaign then try this.
5 angles, 2 images per angle. This way you're starting off with 10 images. Now you're going to calculate the average and see which angle is the winner.
Angle A wins, now test around 15 images until you find some winners.
Next try...

Here's what I would do.
Pause your winning batches. Launch 10-15 ads and find the winners from there.
Now you have batch a, b, c. You should rotate them to slow down banner blindness. Batch A for 3 days, Batch B, for 3 days, Batch C for 3 days.

Testing an offer is NOT a measure of time. For example one guy could test an offer for a week and only get 50 clicks, while someone else tests an offer for 2 hours and...
Image > Headline > Text of the ads > Colors / styles > call to action button.
Your question on CTR is very generic...
Yes. That would mean your ads are not targeted properly, or the offer / landing page aren't very good.
Take for example you are selling car insurance. The ad features a hot...
Lemme think
- Reading. This meant books, forums, and any other sources of information
- Developing skills. I learned PHP, HTML, CSS, and how to use Photoshop
- Constantly trying to network. Picking the brains of people I met through forums and picking the brains of my affiliate managers
- I...
Nah, there's just tons of questions and I'm extremely busy at the moment (on vacation). Just kinda answering the ones that are easiest and take less time for now

3. work with a mobile focused network, and find a good offer
4. Launch
5. start cutting away at unprofitable...
I haven't read Tom's guide.
Everyone has their own method. Mine is very scientific, at the same time I believe in the 80/20 rule and focusing on testing the most important elements.
It's important to be able to distinguish the most important elements vs. the least important. Think about a...
