I have Excel sheets, a notebook and my money application on my phone. If I can't figure out a reasonable plan for making money on the site within 2-3 days of being on the site or before even signing up, I don't waste my time with it. I need to know that X amount of hours will produce a result...
See, this. I don't think people realize how much posting they are doing for FREE! At the most, it's time spent, but talking about what you'd normally talk about 50 different places is not a burden, even with inconsistent pay.
Once again, ALL of the problems that occur when you have money will occur when you don't, but you'll still be able to eat, provide shelter and clothe yourself.
You pay taxes when you're poor. You pay bills when you're poor. You everything you do when you have money, except easily eat, pay rent...
The best thing about mTurk is if you go in there with a plan, you can trust the company to hold the money until the end of the week, two weeks or month that you have established your time period. You figure out how much you want to make, break it down into shifts, get to it and go about your day.
So, it still sounds like something that one would need to attempt to do on their own and see what their experience is, if we are going by BigJ and Klassiter. That would be my advice to anyone considering it. What your account looks like to Bubblews may be completely different from those stating...
Well, considering what they allow on the site, I don't see why there is so much angst about trying it out. Go on there, post enough to get the first $25 and see if you get paid. If you do, spend it, if you don't see how you feel about the chances of getting paid and then go from there.

Okay, so they have a stable of writers, a story comes up, you give them your angle and approach, the business says, "yes," you go write it and start over? Is that right?
I'll be honest, I've decided to avoid most of that. I am going to go with what I think I wouldn't mind reading and seeing on a daily basis and that will be my foundation. From there, I will look at what they are responding to and adjust as much as I can without losing myself.
People can tell...
Life is always easier with money. It may not be fulfilling or even honest, but it is easier. Very little is more peaceful than knowing you have a place to live and food to eat with clothes on your back. All other issues come with riches or poverty, but shelter, food and clothes come with money.
Okay, thank you for the additional information. Is Scripted something that is a scheduled thing? Or, do you do it on your own time and pace? I mean outside of the deadlines for the story.
The lowest is $.98 and the most expensive new domain was just about $10, renewals just under $11. All of these things happened with Namecheap, although I do have or have bought domains with other companies during their sales.
Donna, they all sound promising, but at the same time, constricting. The money is probably worth it, but I'd have to see exactly what the hoops are that they have to jump through. Thanks for the suggestion.
I don't know how true it is, that if you look up a domain on a registrar's site, they will buy the name up and cause you to pay more. But, just in case, you can look up any domain on Domize.com.
A payment method, sure, but I think only the well established writers on the site would be the ones eligible for instant payment. As they should be. It's bad enough that the site has to pay for posts asking them questions and any little thing with Bubblews in the title, so should be a...
