Nice list, Linda. I have a few content based affiliate sites. They do require a lot of work but the networks I'm signed up to give higher commissions for sites that are blogs/content driven.
@CPV Specialist - a great description, especially the penultimate sentence. It's good that you point out that, if not done properly, PPC can eat through you wallet very quickly and newcomers need to have a good handle on their target networks being going all out.
I agree with seomentor - there are plenty of communities out there where people share content. Guest bloggging is another great way of getting your backlinks out there.

The idea around linking to an inner page is good but I've found that some of the anti-spam plugins will capture this as a form of spamming. Any tips on how to get around this?
