My assumption was that this discussion was US based. Yes you are correct in other GEOs regarding legality. Not sure how I'm taking your statement "SOI or DOI is the legal path" as out of context?? Yes. That's VASTLY different from the general theme here of "IT'S ILLEGAL TO EMAIL SOMEONE WHO DIDN'T OPT IN TO YOUR LIST!!!!".. It's very legal to scrape/buy/trade/etc email addresses and send to them as long as you follow the rules in the actual sending of the email (disclaimers, addresses...- Fritzr
